Handwriting Worksheets, Workbooks & Fonts

The Handwriting Workbooks, worksheets and fonts, collectively known as The Integrated Writing Series, by Keith Berry, PhD, and published by Golden Educational Center, are based on extensive field research. The writing system developed from this research incorporates approaches and techniques which are effective for students from Kindergarten all the way through graduation.

Following years of field research and development, Keith Berry, PhD, and the Integrated Writing Team, created the most complete and beneficial writing program ever devised.

Integrated Writing (IW) is, on-the-one-hand a more effective, enjoyable, and affordable handwriting system, while being much more than 'just a handwriting system' on-the-other-hand… Integrated Writing is the only K-12 writing method which enables classroom teachers and at home educators alike to fully integrate writing with reading, mathmatics and any other subject, because it is designed with enough flexibility to promote growth in many different aspects of education.

Handwriting is one of the most common sources of academic issues and these issues frequently cause students to avoid writing all together, which reduces their progress in other skills and subjects.

Unlike some systems, Integradte Writing's foundation exercises effectively teach skills to help promote student growth in other subjects and areas of learning. The foundation exercises within the Integrated Writing Series provide an integrated continuum of alphabets allowing instructors the flexibility to choose the most effective application for their specific situation. Students of all grade levels benefit from periodic foundations review and each alphabet within the Integrated Writing System has been created on the principles of visual-motor skill integration and has been extensively field tested by teachers.

The Intgrated Writing Exercises not only cover the basics of writing, but also provide 'tight finger writing' or 'fine motor skill handwriting', which ranges from 1 1/2" to 3/8". During exercises, students practice 'tracking' outlines of letters, which is a highly effective visual-motor integration technique helping to develop coordination and fine motor skills.

In addtion to the contents of the workbooks and Intergrated Writing Test, a Integrated Writing Teacher's Manual and both PC and Mac Integrated Writing Fonts are included with this PDF Writing Series giving both classroom and at home instructors the ability to create their own unique or individualized lessons, which can be tailored to the needs of students, if necessary, since all students learn and develop at different rates, making this writing series not only one of the most affordable, but one of the best writing systems on the market today.
